When checking in at the front desk, state that you wish to be seen through Valley Free Clinic.

No, providers at Mend Urgent Care will not be notified if you are being seen as a Valley Free Clinic patient or through another health insurance. The quality of your care will not be impacted by your insurance status.

Patients who are uninsured are eligible to be seen as Valley Free Clinic patients.

Patients must attest that they are currently not under any other insurance plan while checking in at any one of the three clinics, and request to be seen as a Valley Medical Free Clinic patient.

Mend Urgent Care provides quality urgent care services, as well as primary and psychiatric care upon appointment. Valley Medical Free Clinic’s partnership with them allows VFC to fund patient care visits at the three clinics so that individuals who are uninsured or underinsured can receive the quality care they deserve.

VFC has an MOU with Mend Urgent Care that can be provided upon request, as well as a conflict of interest form.

Valley Free Clinic patients can be seen at any one of Mend Urgent Care’s 3 locations in Burbank, Sherman Oaks, or Van Nuys. The hours vary at each location, so look below for each clinics’ hours and days of service.

Primary Care visits can be scheduled on Mend website. Valley Medical Free Clinic patients will be able to receive free primary care at Mend clinics.
